Q: Do I have to join your church in order to attend services?

A: All people are welcome to attend worship and participate in church activities, whether members or not.

Q: Do you have a ministry for youth and children?

A:  We offer a nursery for toddlers and infants during Sunday worship; Sunday School for K-6; First Communion class for preteens; Confirmation class for junior high school age children.  We also have youth group activities for teens, and Vacation Bible School in the summer.

Q: Do I have to get dressed up for church?

A: Some people like to get dressed up.  Others come as they are.  All are welcome!

Q: What national church body does St. Paul's belong to?

A The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), with headquarters in Chicago, Illinois.

Q: May I take communion at your church?

A: All baptized Christians who believe in Christ's presence at the Eucharist are welcome to the communion table.

Q: How may I arrange for myself or my child to get baptized at your church?

A:  Baptisms are arranged with the pastor, who usually plans for several education sessions with the person to be baptized, or in the case of an infant or small child, with the person's parents.
